What is Style?

Document Actions
Style results in text presented in a clear, concise and consistent manner with the proper use of capitalization, hyphens, abbreviations and other formatting. Documents with style allow medical professionals to quickly extract essential information without unnecessary mental processing. Breveon’s Specialized Medical Topics support the style guidelines promoted by the American Association for Medical Transcription.

Example 1:

Transcription with style errors:

He was injected with 1 percent Lidocaine with one to one hundred thousand Epinephrine. The patient required dopamine at 20 micrograms per kilogram per minute."
